Skeeter, the new drone


New Drone inspired by a Dragonfly.

Skeeter, is the name of this wonderful and original drone.





This gorgeous drone is a creation of Professor in bio-mechanics in the Department of Zoology, Adrian Thomas, which was inspired by dragonflies owing to their natural fly, these magnificent animals have a very interesting way of flying since they can flap at a high speed and thus manage to keep flying even if they lose one of its wings. 

Skeeter has: four wings each of these is independent, a camera and a microphone; This important invention can fly 45 kilometers per hour, weighs only or grams and measures about 12 cm long.




This new drone will be used, mainly, for military missions or rescue; in which human beings can not access to the place of any catastrophe like for example; earthquakes, fires, etc.; but, also, will be used for operations military in territories very hostile.
